* Example uncertainty calculation for E-modulus on a 100 GPa bar-shaped sample (100 mm × 25 mm × 10 mm): the uncertainty on Young's Modulus is defined mainly by 3× the uncertainty of the thickness (e.g., 0.001 mm on 10 mm thickness). This results in a 0.03 GPa overall uncertainty on the modulus calculation. The uncertainty of the GrindoSonic frequency measurement is negligible in this total uncertainty budget.
