Abstract

This article describes the work on developing a test procedure for characterizing vitrified bonded cBN grinding wheels.

Due to the scope of the work carried out, the article has been divided into two parts. Part 1 of the article is described in this issue, Part 2 will appear in issue 04/2002.

Systematic research on quality assessment methods for cBN grinding wheels used in high-performance grinding applications.
